Facilitators

Kathy Hope
Innovation Institute Facilitator
Kathy Hope, Ph.D., is a psychologist by training and “an artist at heart.”  She is a closet writer and painter who cares more deeply about the process of creating than publicizing the product.  Who knows?  Perhaps this will shift once her 5 year-old is a bit more self-sufficient!  Through a strong practice of yoga and meditation, Kathy is continually inspired to consider new possibilities and to live from the heart.  As a facilitator at the Innovation Institute, Kathy helps to create an environment of trust, providing greater opportunities for individuals to explore their demons and dreams… and to come out on the other side lighter, freer and more courageous than before.

Kathy has provided organizational and leadership consulting services to Fortune 500 companies in a variety of industries and settings.  In addition, she has held leadership positions at both Bank of America and Wachovia Corporation, with responsibility for designing and facilitating executive education solutions for the organizations’ highest performing, highest potential talent.

Kathy is passionate about working with leaders from diverse identity groups to assist them in discovering and fulfilling their highest potential.  As a consulting psychologist, she has coached senior leaders across financial services, pharmaceutical, communications, technology, energy, food services and manufacturing sectors.

Kathy has published research on psychometric assessment validation and women in the workforce.  She graduated cum laude with a BA degree from the University of South Carolina’s Honors College, earned a Master of Arts degree from Wake Forest University, and holds a Ph.D. from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.   Leveraging her knowledge of health and wellness as a certified yoga instructor, Kathy enjoys creating opportunities for leaders to experience greater ease and peace through the use of movement, breath, and awareness.
