The Innovation Institute is an entrepreneurial extension of McColl Center for Visual Art. McColl Center for Visual Art is the largest not-for-profit organization in Charlotte, NC to solely focus on contemporary art. The Center is an artists’ residency program and exhibition space dedicated to promoting contemporary art and supporting artists regionally, nationally and internationally, and is positioned to provide a substantial and provocative curriculum based on the processes of creativity used by artists. The Center’s goal is to present art and artists in a way that engages and enriches the public while revealing the creative process.
